  10. beforewe begin we have to explain something.
  11. the actual commands that must be entered from the keyboard will be placed
  12. between "   " and are in CAPITAL letters.
  13. directions are given as north,east,south,west,left,right,forward or
  14. backward.

  20. some of the actions in the game are activated by function keys,they will be
  21. shown as <F1> .. <F10>.

  23. save your game as much as you like.
  24. it will prove to be the best approach in case that you have forgotten something
  25. or worse you DIE !.

  29. the begin:
  30.  
  31. you are stranded in a huge junk freighter which picked you up in deep space
  32. as you were another piece of space scrap.
  33. walk to the big metal thing in front of the escape pod.
  34. "LOOK GROUND","LOOK OBJECT".
  35. looks like somebody lost his warp motivator. better remember the spot.
  36. might come in handy.
  37. "SOUTH" , "EAST".
  38. you see a big hand and a large bucket conveyer carrying shredded metal to
  39. a horizontal conveyer above you.
  40. you must get on the conveyer. just walk into it and it will take you up.
  41. once you're on the horizontal conveyer type "STAND" ,"JUMP".
  42. if you are to late,life sucks again.0 points and already dead !?!?.
  43. looks like you're of to a good start.
  44. if you are on the rail walk "WEST","WEST","WEST".
  45. "LOOK".
  46. walk over to the grabber suspended from the rail."ENTER GRABBER"."LOOK GRABBER"
  47. use the arrow keys to move the grabber around.
  48. now move the grabber backwards almost until the end of the next picture.
  49. "PUSH BUTTON". if your position is good ,the grabber will grab the
  50. warp motivator.if not move the grabber a little and try again.
  51. now go further backwards until you have made a turn through the big machine.
  52. "PUSH BUTTON".if your position is good,the grabber will release the
  53. warp motivator right into the ship.if not move the grabber a little and
  54. try again.
  55. now go "WEST" until you reach the spot where you found the grabber.
  56. now you must get out.there is only one place to do this.
  57. move the grabber to the middle of the picture.you'll see a  sort of ramp
  58. there.
  59. "GET OUT".now don't hesitate and walk right into the shute.
  60. watch the droid,he will shoot you if he can. no mercy for organics.
  61. you're now in some sort of rat hole.just look up.
  62. "LOOK","LOOK LAMPS","LOOK WIRE".now walk to the hole on the left and just
  63. "GET REACTOR".walk EAST and "CLIMB" the low-tech ascent/descent module.
  64. off course we mean the ladder.
  65. once on the surface again.(looks familiar doesn't it). "GET LADDER".
  66. and don't forget the place where you crawled out of the hole.
  67. "NORTH" ,"EAST".walk through the tunnel.get the piece of wire in the
  68. beginning of the tunnel "GET WIRE".walk
  69. EAST.you are attacked by some sort
  70. of space rat.
  71. he stole the generator from
  72. you.don't worry we'll just get it back.
  73. go back to the place where you left
  74. the rat hole "DROP LADDER","CLIMB".
  75. walk over to the generator and "GET
  76. GENERATOR".
  77. climb out again and go to the tunnel.walk through it.

  79. won't bother you again.
  80. walk over to the big metal head."CLIMB EYE".
  81. walk
  82. over to the sid e of the ship that's facing you.
  83. "USE LADDER" ,"CLIMB".
  84. watch
  85. your step the ship is slippery on top.
  86. walk over to the hatch and "OPEN
  87. HATCH".
  88. "LOOK", "LOOK COMPUTER", "LOOK FLOOR" ,"PUT REACTOR IN
  89. COMPARTEMENT".
  90. "CONNECT WIRE TO CABLE", "LOOK COMPUTER","SIT".
  91. so you're
  92. ready for takeoff.
  93. type "COMPUTER". press "7" ,"8" ,"F". now press the
  94. spacebar.
  95. once out the junk freighter "COMPUTER" ,"2" ,"1" .
  96. resume scan "1"
  97. until you see the planet phleebhut.
  98. "2" set a course for it. "3" return to
  99. compute r.
  100. "5" and off you go..
  101. when the computer signals that you are in the
  102. vicinity of a planet.
  103. "COMPUTER" , "3" and land on the planet.
  104. "STAND" ,"PUSH
  105. BUTTON".now walk EAST,EAST,NORTH,NORTH.
  106. behold you see the world o'
  107. wonders.
  108. enter the world o' wonders. "SHOW GEM".
  109. sell the gem for 425
  110. buckazoids,no more ,no less.
  111. "BUY UNDERWEAR", "BUY ORAT" ,"BUY HAT".
  112. just for
  113. fun do "LOOK CARD" untilyou've seen them all. "EXIT".
  114. when you leave the shop
  115. you are caught by arnoid the annihilator.
  116. fortunately for you he's in a good
  117. mood today,so he gives you a lead
  118. before he comes after you to kill you.go
  119. "WEST" and enter mog's foot.
  120. walk onto the elevator "PRESS BUTON".leave the
  121. elevator and walk up the stairs.
  122. now walk upto the big machine on the left.
  123. you can see two pulley-blocks in the
  124. front and the back of the machine. walk
  125. over towards one of them.
  126. (it doesn't matter which one). stand left of
  127. it.
  128. now when arnoid comes up the stairs and walks past the big gear wheels
  129. just
  130. type "GET ROPE", and he is c rushed into tiny pieces.way to go roger
  131. !
  132. walk do the stairs and up to arnoid "LOOK ARNOID", "GET BELT".
  133. now wait
  134. until fester comes up with the elevator.hitch a ride down with him.
  135. go back to
  136. your ship and fire it up. that is just start the engines, you know
  137. how to do
  138. it by now.
  139. set a course for monolith burger.(leave radar and shields on.you
  140. never know).
  141. once inside monolith burger's fast food dive, walk "WEST" and go
  142. over to
  143. the counter.
  144. "LOOK MENU", "7" ,"Q", "PAY". walk to an empty seat and
  145. "SIT", "EAT".
  146. what do you know,a swell decoder ring.now "STAND" and walk over
  147. to the arcade
  148. game on the left. "LOOK GAME" and read the instructions on the
  149. screen.
  150. if you are ready to play astro chicken just "INSERT COIN".
  151. now play
  152. and "INSERT COIN" until you get a secret message on the screen.
  153. "USE RING" and
  154. you can now read the message.
  155. it will take a little time to decode but at
  156. least you wil now what to look
  157. for and where.just get out of that second rate
  158. mac (tm) and enter your ship.
  159. set a cour se for the planet ortega and land
  160. there.
  161. "STAND", "WEAR UNDERWEAR", "PUSH BUTTON". go SOUTH, WEST.
  162. now walk
  163. over the crevice. go SOUTH.
  164. hide behind the rocks until the scientists
  165. disappear.
  166. walk over to the telescope and "USE TELESCOPE", "LOOK MOON".
  167. walk
  168. to the crate on the right of the rock "GET DETONATOR".
  169. go EAST, EAST,
  170. NORTH.
  171. now walk around the right corner of the big rock in the middle.
  172. go
  173. down the stairs and go EAST.walk up to the ladder and "CLIMB".
  174. walk carefully
  175. to the edge of the gene rator. "DROP DETONATOR".
  176. walk back to the ladder
  177. "CLIMB".
  178. now go back to the picture with the telescope.
  179. walk to the wind
  180. meter on the right of the crate with the detonators.
  181. "GET POLE". go NORTH,
  182. "USE POLE", and get back to the ship.
  183. now go to the computers navigation
  184. system and scan for the planet pestulon.
  185. set a course for the planet pestulon
  186. and land there. "STAND", "WEAR BELT".
  187. "PUSH BUTTON", and go SOUTH. "USE BELT"
  188. and "ENTER DOOR".
  189. walk past the guards. "PRESS BUTTON" left of the door.
  190. no w
  191. walk through the hallway until you see a door on the inner wall.
  192. enter it.
  193. "LOOK", "LOOK CLOSET", "WEAR COVERALLS". leave the closet.
  194. walk through the
  195. hallway until you see a door on the outer wall that hasn't
  196. got a key card
  197. security system.
  198. enter it.
  199. you are now in some sort of office.
  200. just walk
  201. past any waste paper bin and "USE VAPORIZER".
  202. don't forget to empty the
  203. all,because if you miss one you will be recognized
  204. as an intruder.
  205. just work
  206. your way through the office until you see two guards .
  207. each one of them is
  208. carrying a whip.
  209. (oh yeah,on your way you will see a copier machine standing
  210. in a corner./
  211. remember it for later use ).
  212. on your right you will see an
  213. office with a man in it.
  214. just walk out of the picture and re-enter it.the man
  215. will be gone.
  216. go into the office and up to the desk. "GET KEYCARD".
  217. now go to
  218. the copier machine.on the wall infront of the machine you will see
  219. a picture
  220. of the big boss in charge of scumsoft. "GET PICTURE".
  221. walk to the copier
  222. "COPY". walk back from  where you got the picture and
  223. "REPLACE THE PICTURE".
  224. walk out of the office through the door you came in.
  225. walk through the hallway
  226. until you see the door in the outer wall with the
  227. keycard security system.
  228. "USE CARD", "USE PICTURE" and enter the door.
  229. "PUSH BUTTON".
  230. walk over the
  231. retractable bridge towards the two guys in jello.
  232. "USE VAPORIZER".

  235. YES YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN !!!!

  240. done what, you may ask.
  241. getting youself in
  242. troub le again, that's what you've done.

  244. you are captured by elmo and taken
  245. to the arena for a one on one.
  246. use the "J" key to hit and the "M" key to block
  247. elmo's hits.
  248. use the cursor keys to move around.
  249. just don't hit and block to
  250. much or you will lose power rapidly.
  251. once that slimeball hits the dust, run
  252. for the ship.
  253. "COMPUTER", "1", "6".
  254. they have sabotaged your ship so you must
  255. fight them.
  256. use "8" to go to the weapons section.
  257. put up the back shields and
  258. wait.
  259. don't forget to change the shield  from back to front.
  260. depends on from
  261. what side they will attack.
  262. you can see this on the radar screen.(bottom left
  263. of the screen).
  264. now just blow 'em out of the galaxy.
  265. after you shoot a few
  266. down ,the rest will give up.
  267. use the "O" and the <F6> keys to go back to
  268. cockpit view.
  269. the two guys will repair your ship because, believe it or
  270. not,they're hungry.
